iPad 2 iOS 6 WiFi connections problems
#1I have installed iOS 6 on my iPad 2. It would not connect to my WiFi upon installation. I rebooted the iPad it them found and connected to my WiFi. It now loses connection every 15 minutes or less. I have rebooted my moden. I reset network settings on the iPad. The iPad was working great prior to the OS upgrade. All other WiFi sytems on my network are working great. My network is supporting a desktop PC, Laptop, Roku, Smart TV, and 2 printers, all are working except my iPad. My iPad has been turned into an expensive paper weight. Please help with a solution.

iPad 2 iOS 6 WiFi connections problems
Hi,
Only to let you know that I am facing the same problem with my IPAD 2 .
I was yesterday at the aiport so I had dozens of wifi public networks to connect I have tried all of them without success!
In addition , I have done all with my Ipad 2 to fix the problem the only thing that I do not do is to downgrade the IOS to 5 !
I really believe the problem is with IOS 6!
I hope Apple is reading our message to fix the problem because it is a big problem for the majority of people that bought tablets to be able to work with mobility by using public wifi networks!
Regards,
EG1000

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
