adding comcast contacts to ipad

Outlook is used as my primary contact manager with MobileMe. Shortly after I purchased my ipad, the following message came up from MobileMe:Synching with MobileMe will change more than 25% of your contacts (Add 1182/Delete 0/Modify 1175This was trying to duplicate and/or modify contacts in Outlook ...|adding-duplicates-altering-contacts-mobileme-outlook-pc-ipad

I have my comcast mail set up on my ipad. It is set up as a POP account. I have it set up to delete a message from the server after I have deleted it from the inbox. It does not happen. Several minutes later, all the messages download again. This costs a lot of money when you are traveling internationally. One more disappointment in a series of them (dont jump on me, oh mighty defenders of the magic pad- found an important voicemail on my ipad 3G. Safari opened the comcast Smartzone readily. I set up a wireless hotspot in our office using an AirPort Express. Plugged the express into the ethernet port on our comcast cable modem and then into the wall socket. Up and running in no time.
