When I connect my iPad to iTunes and tick the check box to sync apps, it fails for about 50% of them with An unknown error. There seems to be no pattern to what syncs and what wont i.e., some free and paid apps sync and some free and paid apps wont.As I test I downloaded a couple of the free ones that wont sync via the app store and they download and install properly. Hello all. My new iPad with 3G finally arrived and I am having trouble activating it. I have no problem syncing my iPhone but when the iPad is connected Windows gives an error saying unknown device and it does not appear in iTunes. The laptop is running Windows XP and installing service pack 3 made no difference. I downloaded and installed the latest iTunes 9.whatever. When trying to import a Keynote file created on the Mac into Keynote on the Mac, you receive Presentation Couldnt be Imported unknown Import error. The problem is with garbage in text pasted from web pages into text boxes in Keynote on the Mac. It displays fine on the Mac Keynote, but Keynote on the iPad will not import the file. I use the Remote app for iTunes on my iPad. It has had a lot of problems lately, such as crashing and not being able to find the library, but the biggest problem is an unknown error that occurs sometimes when I try to play a song.
