IPAD 2 locks up on ICloud backup

My IPAD has a number of documents, including pdf, xls, doc, ppt files.  Some are associated with Documents to Go - Premium, which froze on the device attempting to download an update and had to be deleted (which also deleted the files that only were on the IPAD and associated witht the app).  How do I restore only that app and/or the related files from the ICloud.  Ans I've found so far were not clear/specific enough or seemed to indicate the entire IPAD had to be restored.  iOS 5.1.1...|restore-documentfile-ipad-icloud-backup-restoring-device-icloud-backup

Just bought the new IPAD (3rd generation) and want to download files backed up previously in ICloud by my old IPAD 2. Have my ICloud backup option switched on on the new IPAD but no luck in transferring the files. So my files are stuck in ICloud. I desperately need a note I deleted from my IPAD. I followed the instructions I found on this forum and others by erasing and restoring yesterday's backup from the ICloud, The problem is that the IPAD starts syncing the Notes back with the ICloud before I can get to the restored note. My iphone connects fine to itunes, when I hook up my IPAD the device gets installed, Itunes opens up, you see the IPAD in the itunes window and then everything freezes, no keyboard, no mouse, no ctrl alt del. It takes a hard boot to get the system back. Power actally seems to dissappear from the mouse as it has an led light that goes off. Many folks are reporting units that are freezing/ locking up when playing any sort of video..... Your problems have just begun. Its a hardware glitch regarding IPAD & video. A hard reset will not solve the issue (nor will a reinstallation of the software or a reboot of your modem &/or wireless router). As youve probably guessed, I have this problem too.
