ipad mini icon does not come up on itunes when syncing

Need help was trying to up grade from ios5.1.1 to ios6 after installing for over 40 minutes the final screen came up with the blue itunes icon and a USB lead leading to it.  All I can do is to switch it off.  ipad 2 will not turn on to the home screen, it keeps going to the itunes icon with the lead. when I plug the ipad in to my mac all I get is that the ipad is in recovery mode.  HELP!!...|process-upgrading-ios6-process-picture-itunes-icon-blue-usb-lead

I attached ipad to my computer to sync.  I received a message indicating there was a new version of the software.  During the update, the ipad crashed.  The screen on the ipad is showing the itunes icon and the USB cord. The ipad no longer shows up in my devices.   I have followed all instructions online to reset the ipad,and I uninstalled itunes and reinstalled it.  No change. Problem: when the ipad was connected to the computer (Mac OS X 10.6.3), the ipad icon would not appear in itunes. All available help was dealt with, including reinstalling itunes, plugging into different ports, etc, but none of the solutions worked. We gave up and called apple support.Solution: Apple support said to install ALL updates on the computer. Since we had added AT&T the week before, this advice made sense. While on a recent road trip, my ipad mysteriously stopped charging when connected to a wall plug. Or so I thought, as the charging icon never appeared. However, if left plugged in long enough, the ipad would slowly (very slowly) recharge. The same ipad will no longer appear in itunes for synching. Every time i touch the itunes icon on my 3G ipad, it starts to launch itunes for a second, then goes blank and launches the app store. FYI, the app store button works just fine. I got an ipad 2. Restored from my iPad1 backup. All of my apps and settngs were loaded on the new ipad, but I lost the layout and groupings of where the icons/apps were. i ended up with pages upon pages of apps, but had to manually move them around the way I wanted them. I eagerly awaited 4.2.1 to finally put my apps into folders on my ipad. when I updated my ipad software somehow I have my ipad so that when I turn it on I get a choice of how to restore it from a backup.  when I click on Restore from itunes Backup and connect to my computer both the computer and ipad make the "connection noise" and itunes opens up.  itunes runs through as if it is restoring and syncing, but the ipad doesn't change at all.  I do occasionally get the message of error -50.  Any ideas?...|ipad-shows-itunes-connected-itunes-process-syncing-ipad-respond.

when I sync my ipad with itunes on my computer....it puts all my music on the ipad, but it only puts some of it in the correct playlist and some of the songs in the correct playlist and then none in some playlists.  What can i do to fix that?  All the playlists have the songs on my computer....|syncing-itunes

I have had to format my PC running windows 7, and reset my ipad 1 to factory settings, i then installed latest itunes on the PC authorised the PC and re downloaded several movies via itunes previous purchases, all was well until i tried to sync the ipad to the PC, only some of the movies synced onto the ipad, otheres stalled the sync stating itunes could not copy  "name of movie" to the ipad because the file could not be written. I bought my ipad when I was out in the states and just carried on using it as normal when I returned to the UK. I would like to sync my ipad with itunes and be able to keep everything in sync with itunes, ipad and iPhone. If I try and sync the apps on the ipad I am warned that it will delete all the data off of my ipad and replace it with the data in itunes. I have too much data to lose on either the ipad or the iPhone.
